Key Duties:
Develop and manage a company-wide facility and equipment maintenance program
Collaborate with the Director of Automation on new equipment installations and labor planning
Oversee renovations, expansions, and capital improvement projects
Manage CMMS software to ensure timely maintenance and cost efficiency
Lead construction projects including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and timelines
Ensure safety compliance with local and federal regulations
Manage and evaluate external service providers
Identify facility-related risks and implement mitigation strategies
Develop and maintain the maintenance and capital budgets
Implement sustainability and energy-saving initiatives
Promote continuous improvement within the facilities department
Align facility operations with broader company objectives through cross-functional collaboration
Set department goals and manage deadlines and deliverables
Oversee contractor work for compliance with internal standards
Ensure all projects comply with licensing, legal, and building codes
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in facilities or construction management, preferably in multi-site operations
Deep understanding of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
Proven ability to manage budgets, teams, and large-scale maintenance programs
Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office; floor planning software a plus
Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead and manage facilities team members
Provide training, performance feedback, and conflict resolution support
