Cultivation Technician (Greenhouse)
Schedule: M-F, 6AM–2:30PM
Pay: $15/hour
Location: Wimauma, FL
6 month contract-to-direct
The Cultivation Technician is an entry-level, hands-on role responsible for supporting all stages of the cultivation process within the greenhouse. This position works under the direction of the cultivation leadership team and assists with plant care, harvesting, sanitation, and general cultivation operations to ensure healthy plant growth and production efficiency.
Plant Care & Cultivation Support
Assist with daily cultivation tasks including transplanting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest management.
Support plant propagation by taking cuttings from mother plants and assisting with cloning and vegetative growth stages.
Monitor plant health and help maintain optimal growing conditions including climate, irrigation, and fertility.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in cultivation areas, tools, and equipment.
Safely operate cultivation equipment such as irrigation systems and trimming machines.
Assist with cultivation research and development trials when needed.
Harvest & Post-Harvest
Assist with harvesting mature plants according to production schedules.
Trim and process cannabis flower while maintaining strain separation.
Support drying and curing processes by monitoring environmental conditions.
Weigh and document harvest yields and waste for inventory tracking.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities including plant tracking, treatments, and harvest data.
Follow all regulatory compliance standards and company procedures.
Adhere to workplace safety policies and required PPE guidelines.
Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid government-issued FL driver's license
Clean background required
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Previous experience in cannabis cultivation, agriculture, greenhouse work, or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Ability to work in greenhouse environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and plant allergens
Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.) (provided)
- Candidates must be able & willing to pay the $120 compliance fee, which covers the drug screening & fingerprinting process required to work in the facility. (Please note: if + for marijuana, they must obtain a medcard within 30 days of employment)
