Job Title: Trim & Post-Harvest Associate – Cannabis Facility
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Employment Type: 5-Month Contract-to-Hire (Full-Time Opportunity for Advancement)
Pay: $16.00/hr.
Our client, an established and licensed cannabis operator in Bedford Park, IL, is seeking highly motivated Trim & Post-Harvest Associates to join their cultivation facility. This role offers a variety of post-harvest responsibilities beyond trimming, allowing individuals to contribute across multiple departments while learning the full scope of operations.
Perform bucking, trimming, and detailed post-harvest processing of cannabis plants.
Remove leaves and excess foliage while preserving product integrity and maximizing quality.
Assist with additional post-harvest activities including:
Drying and curing.
Weighing, packaging, and labeling.
Supporting harvest operations as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, processing rooms, and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Follow established post-harvest protocols and compliance regulations.
Uphold safety standards and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must meet and maintain compliance with all state and company cannabis industry regulations.
Ability to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card (State of Illinois requirement).
Willingness to pay all mandatory state fees, including application, fingerprinting, and background checks.
Possess or be willing to obtain dedicated work shoes for facility compliance.
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise instructions.
Highly motivated, adaptable, and eager to pursue a long-term career in the cannabis industry.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
Capable of standing, bending, and working on repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Monday – Friday
Shift 1: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Shift 2: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Shift 3: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
